Grooming Terms & Conditions
Owner Responsibility
- Pet owners are solely responsible for their pet’s behaviour, potential injuries, and any harm caused to others.
- Leashes must be used to control pets within the facility.
Childcare
- We deeply understand that at times in might be unavoidable for you to have your child accompany you while you come in our facility to pick up your dog, however you acknowledge and agree to personally supervise your child and ensure your child’s safety in our facility. In the event of any accidents or injuries involving your child, you agree to assume full responsibility and waive any claims or liabilities against our facility and its staff.
Health
- Pet owners must inform our staff of any medical conditions or stress concerns before grooming.
- Pets must be up to date on Vaccinations, flea or worm treatment, the facility is not liable for infections or diseases
- Owners acknowledge the possibility of unforeseen complications during grooming.
Senior & Special Needs Pets
- Owners recognise the higher risks associated with grooming senior and special needs pets and agree not to hold the facility responsible.
Refusing Service
- The facility reserves the right to refuse or stop services if a pet poses a threat or has specific health issues
- The facility also reserves the right to refuse service if a client mistreat our staff in any way or does not respect our policies.
Dangerous or Aggressive Animals-Refusal of Services
- Before service, it is your duty of care to inform our staff if you suspect your dog to be aggressive towards other dogs.
- In the event that your dog becomes too stressed or dangerous to groom, 2 PRINCESS has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming service or cancel grooming service at any time before, during or after grooming and client will be charged appropriately for work completed to that point.
Emergencies
- In case of an emergency, the facility is authorized to seek professional veterinary attention at the owner’s expense.
Matted Coats
- Dogs with severely matted coats require extra attention. 2 PRINCESS will not cause serious or undue stress to dogs by de-matting. Mats can be difficult to remove and may require the dog to be shaved. Removing a heavily matted coat can cause nicks, cuts or abrasions. Heavy matting can also trap moisture and urine near the dog’s skin, allowing mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, and or revealing skin irritations that existed prior to the grooming process. After effects of the mat removal can include itchiness, redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions, and failure of hair to regrow. If your pet needs to be shaved to remove matting, you acknowledge that you agree to this procedure and any risk. There is an additional charge for this process.
- Also, Ear Hematoma in Dogs may happen when your dog has excessive ear scratching or head shaking or broken blood vessels within the ear flap after shaving.
Cancellation or No Show
- 2 PRINCESS require any appointment changes or cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to inform us will result in an extra fee of $50 being charged upon the next visit.
- If you do not show up for your pet’s appointment, you will incur a fee of 100% of the booked services.
- If more than 2 appointment has indicate no-show within 6 month, we will request full payment prior to the next appointment as a deposit.
Early drop off/Late Arrival &Pick-ups
- Late arrivals (30+minutes) are considered cancellation, and a fee applies.
- Pickup must be arranged within 60 minutes from the time you receive the “pick up”notification. If you are late, an additional fee will be added to accommodate the time spent caring for and keeping your pet comfortable until you arrive. Early Drop Off (more than 20 minute prior to your scheduled appointment) or Late Pick-up Fees are $10per hour. After hours late pick up fee will be $10 per 15mins.
Considerations
- In order to keep a sanitary work environment, we ask that you walk your dog to relieve themselves prior to your apportionment. A Clean-up fee of $20 may apply if it is a repetitive problem.
- We ask that you please do not pick up your dog before receiving a notification from us. Your pet will be upset if they see you before they are finished and it may result in an unfinished groom.
Sanctification
- Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy/would like something adjusted, please let us know when you pick up your pet. We offer a free touch up within 3 days (excl. Body length), any after return visits are treated as a new appointment and charged accordingly.
Pricing
- Grooming costs are determined based on various factors, and owners are encouraged to request a quote before grooming. By using our grooming service, you are agreeing to pay for the grooming prices set by 2 Princess Dog Grooming.
- Our grooming prices are non-negotiable.
Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of pet collection, and no refunds are provided for dissatisfaction.
Social Media & Online
- Consent is given for the use of pet images for social media and marketing purposes.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
- Clients are responsible for checking the facility’s website for updates to the Terms and Conditions.
Release of Liability
- Owners release the facility, its owners, partners, contractors, and volunteers from liability for injuries or loss.
